A Great Sense Of Empowerment | Tampa Boudoir Photography

Q. Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before?

A. No I haven’t technically done a boudoir shoot.

Q. Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

A. As a gift to myself just after turning 22, as well as a fun surprise for my significant other.

Q. What was your favorite part of the session?

A. My favorite part was laughing and chatting with Patty, but also when I saw myself after the makeup reveal!!

Q. What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image?

A. This shoot significantly impacted me for a number of reasons. First being it gave me a great sense of empowerment for being a woman! I did not have a great childhood and was not in control of much so being 22 and embracing my sexual being and my own body feels extremely amazing. Second, I now see my body a lot differently than I had before. I am used to seeing myself in a jank ass college dorm mirror with poor lighting. Seeing my body lit up and angled… it does something for ya :) I am very grateful for this experience.

Q. Was your experience what you were expecting?

A. It was more than I expected. I knew from speaking with Patty that she would help me pose but she did incredible at guiding my poses.

Q. What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?

A. The reveal was incredible. I absolutely loved seeing those photos. The only thing I messed up on was I forgot to bring my bag of jewelry. But i didn’t need it haha.

Q. What changes in yourself have you noticed since your session?

A. I have been going out without a bra more often lol ;)
