Q. Why did you choose Sweet Plum Boudoir? 

A. I'm not sure how I joined the group, but I'm so glad I did. It's such an empowering group of women. Each lady had a different story and look, but every single one was so happy with the end result and left with a confidence that lasted long after the photo shoot. The posted pictures were stunning, sexy, flattering and not the least bit trashy. It wasn't one size fits all. Everyone's outfits, styling, mood showed her personality. Patty clearly has a gift and a special eye.

Q. Did you enjoy the experience? 

A. Absolutely! I love my family and kids, but I greatly enjoyed the alone time and sole focus on myself. I left feeling more confident than I had in a long time. I felt like a beautiful woman just as I was.

Q. Were you nervous about the shoot? 

A. Of course. I was concerned it would be awkward or that my pictures wouldn't be as good as other's. I honestly thought I should cancel and wait until I lost weight.

Q. What was your favorite part? 

A. This is a hard one! I loved it all. The conversation while getting my hair and makeup done helped calm my nerves. I loved the personal pampering and was immediately thrilled when I saw myself in the mirror. I embraced every compliment Patty gave me. Just seemed each step in the process peeled away the layers of insecurity and titles of being a mom and wife. I was left with Christina, and frankly she's pretty awesome.

Q. What would you say to someone who wants to do it but is scared? 

A. Stop the excuses and do it! Don't wait until you reach a certain weight number. You're freaking amazing exactly the way you are, and Patty will absolutely prove it to you!
