So you’re thinking about booking a boudoir shoot? Congratulations! You are about to take a huge step toward growing your love for yourself and embarking on a journey that will leave you feeling empowered in your femininity. Because this is such a life-changing experience, you probably have a TON of questions. Let us put your mind at ease by answering some of our most frequently asked questions so you can take the leap and get your shoot on the calendar!

1| Do I need to prep anything ahead of time?

Come as you are! Don’t put pressure on yourself to look a certain way on the day of your photo shoot. These pictures are to celebrate you as you are in that exact moment in time. I do encourage you to consider whether or not you want a mani/pedi or some waxing done before the shoot, and remember to bring a couple of wardrobe pieces that make you feel most comfortable. 2| What will the day look like?

When you arrive I will have some champagne (or sparkling water) in hand and begin a short consultation on which pieces from your wardrobe would photograph best. This professional styling is always part of the experience, and will ensure you are wearing pieces that compliment your body, skin tone and set. Then you will immediately be ushered into hair and makeup—we’re talking the full glam experience. The results will have you doing a double take! After hair and makeup we will begin shooting for anywhere between 1-2 hours in a variety of outfits and poses. We’ll work inside your comfort zone or I can help you push outside of it if you want. The day is driven by you with help from me! 

3| Will you photoshop the images?

I lightly retouch my images. If there is a certain flaw you wish to be hidden, there is room for that in my editing. I use specific angles and lighting to ensure the photos are highlighting you at your best. What I won’t do is alter your body composition. This experience is meant to celebrate you as you are, and you will leave the session feeling so sexy in your own skin that you won’t think twice about my editing process. 

4| Will my pictures be published anywhere?

These pictures are for your eyes only! Photos on my website are only used with written permission from the client, or from promotional shoots. Although I love to use client photos whenever I can, your pictures will only end up in the hands of the people you want to see them!
